David H. White was recently elected to Chairman of the Board of Children’s Friend, Inc. of Worcester, MA.
David has been a Director since 1988 and has served as Treasurer and First Vice-Chair. He immediately made a very special commitment to Children’s Friend, pledging to meet individually with each Director to learn about that Board member’s areas of expertise, interests and any questions or concerns the member had. David, who was a recipient of our highest recognition, the Miles-Lincoln Award, has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to our mission to improve the lives of children and those who love them.
While David is doing all this, he also runs a large company, R. H. White Construction, an award-wining family business that is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. David also chairs another not-for-profit board and rides in the Pan Mass Challenge.
